Mobile Wave Solutions is a professional services company specializing in software development as a service. With a team of over 120 engineers, we deliver scalable, high-quality software that empowers our global clients to innovate and grow. We value collaboration, technical excellence, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
Are you a seasoned AWS expert who thrives on technical autonomy and high-impact work? We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS) to take full ownership of our cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will be the primary technical authority responsible for architecting, securing, and evolving our global footprint.
This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys the full lifecycle of a platform—from high-level architectural design to operational excellence. You will act as the Technical Anchor for all AWS-focused incidents and serve as the hands-on control owner for our ISO 27001 compliance, ensuring our platform remains resilient, secure, and cost-effective.
Build and evolve all AWS environments, ensuring they meet strict availability, performance, and disaster recovery requirements.
Own the security posture of the AWS environment. Design and enforce secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation (VPC), and ingress/egress controls.
Participate in an on-call as a primary AWS responder. You will drive technical triage and hands-on remediation for P1/P2 incidents, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout.
Define SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets to measure service health. Proactively identify reliability risks and eliminate operational toil through automation and self-healing infrastructure.
Provide hands-on leadership for ISO 27001 audits. You will manage technical documentation, maintain automated audit evidence, and ensure infrastructure aligns with security control areas.
Maintain and secure CI/CD pipelines and establish organizational standards for IaC (Terraform) to ensure all changes are controlled, versioned, and auditable.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SRE or DevOps, with a mastery of production AWS environments.
Proven experience as a primary responder and Incident Lead. You must be comfortable making high-stakes technical decisions during P1/P2 events.
Deep understanding of the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, cloud governance, and security best practices.
Practical experience supporting ISO 27001, SOC2, or similar frameworks within a technical capacity.
Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation scripting (Python/Go/Bash).
Ability to translate complex technical risks and incident updates into clear narratives for both technical and executive stakeholders.
Experience in highly regulated sectors (FinTech, HealthTech).
Experience working with SOCs, SIEMs, or managed security providers (MSSP).
Expertise in AWS Cost Optimization (FinOps) for scaling environments.
